VT Wins 1st Place Outstanding Chapter Award
2019 - 2020
The Virginia Tech chapter of Alpha Pi Mu won 1st place in the APM National Outstanding Chapter Award! Congratulations, hokies! We would also like to congratulate the 2nd place winner, the University of Arkansas, and the 3rd place winner, the University of Puerto-Rico Mayaguez.
ISE Senior Symposium
Spring 2019
Alpha Pi Mu members volunteered to help run the ISE 2019 Senior Symposium. The ISE Senior Symposium gives graduating seniors the chance to present their capstone projects that they have worked on all year. Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors and their successful projects!
Initiation Ceremony
Fall 2018
The Fall 2018 Initiation for Alpha Pi Mu was held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in War Memorial Chapel. At this ceremony, we welcomed 12 new members into the chapter. President Kiran Bagalkotkar lit the Alpha, Pi, and Mu light boxes to symbolize our values as an organization.
Scholarship Opportunity
Our Alpha Pi Mu (APM) chapter is now accepting applications for the APM National Scholarships. Our chapter will submit three nominations to the national scholarship program, which supports a total of 5 scholarships ($1000). The criteria for the scholarship awards include: scholarship, leadership, sociability, ethicality, and widespread interests.
Current members of APM as well as the inductees for November are eligible.
